Who We Are

Financial Resources Network, Inc. is a dynamic company that evolves along with our clients' changing needs.

We began working with young clients in 1971, helping them to build a sound financial foundation and begin saving for their futures.

As their children approached college age, we developed strategies to help the parents pay for college without ruining their retirement plans.  This included savings strategies in the form of our Personal College Savings Plan™, financial aid strategies, and college selection strategies.  We formed our sister company, College Money, which grew into a nationally recognized resource for college planning expertise.  College Money is still active today.  Along with writing books for the industry, we continue working not only with our clients, but with other financial advisors to help their clients pay for college.

As children graduated, our clients refocused on their retirement and we developed our New Retirement Paradigm™.  The question of work and how it fits into a retirement plan became a major feature of our planning process.  Some of our clients were burned out and were eager for our help in designing a traditional retirement.  Others loved what they were doing but wanted to find a way to restructure the dynamic of their work lives so they could fit in some of the perks of retired life.  We discovered that working into retirement not only improves the economics of a plan, but can significantly enhance the enjoyment of retired life.

Many clients didn't know how to spend their money after so many years of saving for college and retirement.  Our Guilt-free Spending Cookie Jar™ helped them learn how to spend and enjoy wisely.

In time, many clients realized they would be able to leave a substantial inheritance to their children and grandchildren.  In an effort to ensure that the values that enabled them to build this wealth would live on in future generations, we developed our version of estate planning.  The Wealth and Wisdom Sharing Process™ focuses on people and values first, and money and taxes second.

Since most of our clients value good financial stewardship and education, many ask us to help their children the way we helped them.  This brought us full circle to working for clients on behalf of their children and grandchildren, using The Wealth Builder Advantage™, and developing grandparent plans for college.
